征稿通告！“世界中的中国戏剧学”国际学术研讨会

“世界中的中国戏剧学”国际学术研讨会将于2025年11月在北京举办，现面向国内外高校、科研院所及社会独立研究人员公开征稿。

会议主题：世界中的中国戏剧学

会议拟邀请印度、俄罗斯、保加利亚、罗马尼亚、英国、美国等多国极具影响力的戏剧学家与中国当代艺术家和戏剧学者围绕东西方文化关系展开研究与探讨，总结民族话剧、民族歌剧、民族舞剧、民族舞美的理论与实践。发现阻碍进步的问题，设想发展的方向和路径，在当下中国艺术创作“西而古，中而古，西而新，中而新”的基本范式中，思考“中而新”的方向与路径。通过对跨文化戏剧实践和理论的学习批判、祛魅，探索中国戏剧研究走向世界的新路。

会议征稿：

1.投稿论文应契合会议主题。

2.投稿内容须为一份800字中英文摘要或一份7000字左右的论文全文，以及一份作者个人学术简历。

3.请于 2025年9月1日前提交至 邮箱zhongxiyanjiusuo@126.com，邮件请注明基本信息如姓名、标题、职称。 投稿文件名应为“姓名+文章标题”。

4.收到来稿后，主办方将筛选论文，择日向作者发布正式参会通知。

International Symposium Announcement

Theatre Studies: China and the World

Theme:Theatre Studies: China and the World

Organized by:Research Institute for Theatrical Arts, The Central Academy of Drama

This international symposium seeks to explore innovative directions for Chinese theatre studies within a global context, engaging with intercultural performance practices and theoretical frameworks. In light of the evolving dynamics of theatrical production and scholarship, the conference aims to interrogate and expand the “Sino-New” paradigm alongside existing models of Chinese artistic creation—namely, Western-Classic, Sino-Classic, Western-New, and Sino-New.

Through a critical examination of Chinese modern opera, dance drama, and stage design, the symposium proposes a threefold approach:

1. To summarize current theoretical and practical achievements,

2. To identify key obstacles to further progress, and

3. To envision sustainable developmental trajectories for Chinese theatre arts in the 21st century.

Unit 1: Self-Identity in New Chinese Theatre

Unit 2: Narrative in New Chinese Theatre

Unit 3: Body in New Chinese Theatre

Unit 4: Space in New Chinese Theatre

Unit 5: Sound in New Chinese Theatre

We warmly invite scholars, artists, and students from around the world to join us in dialogue and reflection on the past, present, and future of Chinese theatre within the global cultural landscape.

Submission Requirements for the Conference:

1. Submitted papers must be relevant to the symposium’s topics.

2. Papers should be approximately 7,000 words in length or include an abstract of about 800 words in both Chinese and English, along with the author’s curriculum vitae.

3. Submissions must include the authors’ names, professional titles, and academic affiliations.

4. Papers should be emailed to zhongxiyanjiusuo@126.com by September 1, 2025.
